You have already done the work

You are not a parent who gave up.
You are a parent who needs more than education.

You have attended the appointments. You understand what the diagnoses mean. You have read about medication options and you are asking better questions than you were a year ago. You have done everything right — and you are still navigating this largely alone.

What you need now is not more information. You need a physician-built plan that is specific to your teenager — their biology, their history, their symptoms, their goals — and a physician who reviews and updates that plan with you every month as things change.

The Performance Program is physician-guided strategy. It is the difference between knowing what to do and having a physician tell you what to do for your specific teenager, in your specific situation, right now.

“The Foundation Program gives every parent the medical education they deserve. The Performance Program takes that education and applies it specifically to one family — with a personalized wellness plan, monthly case rounds, and my direct oversight every step of the way. For families actively navigating complex decisions, this level of engagement changes outcomes.”
— Dr. Christina Brown, MD  ·  Founder, True Teen Wellness

What makes the Performance Program different

Six physician-guided additions that move from education to personalized strategy

WP
Your teenager’s personalized wellness plan — built by Dr. Brown for your specific teenager
This is the cornerstone of the Performance Program. Dr. Brown builds a personalized wellness plan specific to your teenager — their current diagnoses, their nutritional picture, their sleep patterns, their stress load, their family history, and their goals. This is not a generic plan. It has your teenager’s name on it. It covers nutrition, supplementation, sleep protocol, stress management strategies, and the specific lifestyle interventions most likely to create movement in their particular situation. You receive this plan, you implement it with Dr. Brown’s guidance, and it is reviewed and updated every quarter as your teenager’s picture changes.

Monthly small group case rounds — Dr. Brown walks through real teen cases live
Case rounds are a clinical education format used in physician training — and Dr. Brown brings it directly to parents. Each month, Dr. Brown walks through real teenage case presentations (de-identified) live, explaining her clinical reasoning, what the labs revealed, what she recommended, and what happened. Parents in the Performance Program bring their own questions from their teenager’s situation and apply Dr. Brown’s thinking to their own family in real time. This is physician-level education applied to your specific situation — and there is nothing else like it available to parents.

Weekly health and goal tracking system — make progress visible
One of the most disorienting parts of navigating a teenager’s mental health is not knowing whether anything is actually working. The Performance Program includes a structured weekly tracking system that monitors your teenager’s mood patterns, sleep quality, energy levels, symptom changes, and goal progress over time. When you bring this data to your quarterly wellness plan review with Dr. Brown, you have real information instead of impressions. Progress becomes visible. What is working gets more of. What is not gets changed.

Dr. Brown’s stress and sleep protocols — her exact clinical approach
Dr. Brown’s stress and sleep protocols are not generic recommendations from a wellness blog. They are the exact interventions she uses with her teen patients — grounded in cortisol physiology, circadian rhythm science, and the specific vulnerabilities of the adolescent nervous system. You receive the full protocol with implementation guidance specific to your teenager’s current patterns and home environment. For many families this is the single most impactful deliverable in the program because sleep and stress regulation are the biological prerequisites for every other intervention to work.

Quarterly medication reassessment workshop
Medication management for teenagers with mental health diagnoses is one of the areas where parents feel most lost and most alone. The quarterly medication reassessment workshop is a physician-led session where Dr. Brown reviews current medication standards, what questions to ask at reassessment appointments, what to track between appointments, and how to evaluate whether a medication is actually working for your teenager specifically. You will never sit in another medication appointment without knowing exactly what to say and exactly what to listen for.

Advanced parent support sessions directly with Dr. Brown
Performance Program members receive dedicated advanced parent support sessions with Dr. Brown — separate from the group masterclass and Q&A. These sessions go deeper into your teenager’s specific situation, allow you to bring clinical questions that require more than a group Q&A context, and give you the experience of having a physician who knows your teenager by name and by history. For parents navigating complex, rapidly changing situations, this access is the difference between feeling supported and feeling alone.

The long-term investment

What your family gains when you commit to the full journey

The families who stay in the Performance Program through the full arc of their teenager’s healing experience a fundamentally different outcome than the families who stop after one or two months. Here is what the timeline of transformation looks like.

Month 1
Your personalized plan arrives
Dr. Brown delivers your teenager’s first personalized wellness plan. You attend your first case rounds session and hear Dr. Brown’s clinical reasoning applied to cases similar to yours. You begin the tracking system. For the first time, you have a specific, physician-designed roadmap rather than a general direction.
Month 2
Implementation and early data
The wellness plan is being implemented. The tracking system is generating real data about your teenager’s patterns. You attend your first advanced parent support session and bring Dr. Brown your specific questions. The stress and sleep protocols are in place. You are beginning to see which pieces of the plan are creating movement.
Month 3
First quarterly review — the plan evolves
Dr. Brown reviews your teenager’s tracking data and updates the wellness plan based on what the first 90 days revealed. This is where root cause medicine separates itself from symptom management — the plan is not static, it adapts to what your teenager’s body is telling you. Many families experience a significant clinical shift in month 3 as the biological interventions begin to show measurable effect.
Month 4–6
Deepening and consolidating gains
The case rounds sessions have covered scenarios directly relevant to your teenager’s diagnosis. You have attended the medication reassessment workshop and walked into your teenager’s appointment knowing exactly what to say. The advanced parent sessions with Dr. Brown are going deeper into your specific situation. The plan is working. The data shows it. And you finally feel like you have a physician who knows your family.
Month 7–12
Long-term strength and sustainability
Your teenager has been on a physician-guided personalized plan for six or more months. The biological interventions have had time to create real change. Your communication with your teenager has been shaped by the Foundation modules. You understand the clinical picture more clearly than you ever have. And you have a physician who will continue to adapt their plan as they grow. This is what sustained healing looks like.
The honest truth
Why one month is never enough
The personalized wellness plan takes 90 days to fully implement and begin showing measurable results. The biological interventions — nutritional correction, sleep protocols, stress regulation — require time to create change at the cellular level. Families who stop at month 1 stop before the work has had time to work. Families who stay through the full arc are the ones whose teenagers transform.
Is it worth it?

Let’s talk honestly about the investment

$397 per month is not a small number. We understand that. We also want you to see clearly what it compares to — and what the alternative costs in ways that are harder to measure.

“My daughter had been on three different medications in two years. Every appointment felt like starting over. When Dr. Brown built her personalized wellness plan, it was the first time anyone had looked at my daughter as a whole person instead of a symptom list. Six months later she is on one medication at a fraction of the previous dose, she is sleeping through the night for the first time in three years, and she told me last week that she actually feels like herself again. I will never stop being grateful for this program.”

“She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.”
— Proverbs 31:25
The parent who stays in this program through the hard months — who shows up to every case rounds session, who implements the wellness plan even when progress is slow, who keeps advocating for their teenager even when the system is not making it easy — that parent is clothed with something real. Strength and dignity and a refusal to stop fighting for the teenager God put in their care. That is who the Performance Program is for.
Common questions

Answers before you decide

How is the personalized wellness plan different from generic health advice?
The personalized wellness plan is built by Dr. Brown using your teenager’s specific information — their current diagnoses, their symptoms, their nutritional history, their sleep patterns, their stress profile, and their family history. It is not a template. Every recommendation in the plan has a clinical reason specific to your teenager. When you receive it, it will have your teenager’s name on it and it will speak directly to what is happening in their particular body and brain.
My teenager is already on medication. Is this program still right for us?
Yes — and it may be especially right for you. The Performance Program’s quarterly medication reassessment workshop and personalized wellness plan are specifically designed for families actively navigating medication decisions. Dr. Brown does not replace your teenager’s prescribing physician, but she gives you the clinical knowledge and the tracking data to walk into every medication appointment as the most informed advocate your teenager has.
What is the difference between the Foundation Program and the Performance Program?
The Foundation Program gives you physician-level education. The Performance Program takes that education and applies it to your specific teenager with a personalized plan, monthly case rounds, advanced parent sessions, and quarterly reviews. Foundation is for the parent who needs to understand. Performance is for the parent who is ready to act on that understanding with physician guidance specific to their family.
Can I start with the Foundation Program and upgrade to Performance?
Absolutely — and many families do exactly that. Start in the Foundation Program to build your clinical knowledge and attend your first live Q&A sessions. When you are ready for the personalized plan and deeper physician engagement, upgrading to the Performance Program is seamless. Every month you spent in Foundation counts — you never lose what you have already built.
How long should my family plan to stay in the Performance Program?
For families with teenagers who have active diagnoses or are on medication, Dr. Brown recommends a minimum of 6 months to move through the first two quarterly wellness plan reviews and the medication reassessment workshop. The families who see the greatest transformation are those who commit to the full arc of the program rather than stopping before the biological interventions have had time to create measurable change. That said — there is no contract, and you remain in control of your membership at all times.
